2023 Annual Golf Tour

Led by Louise Wallace and guided by Lesley Whyte, come join us as we are heading away on our annual golfing tour and this time we’re heading to the Central North Island and if the bloke in your life enjoys a round of golf, he’s welcome to join you.

From the time you meet us in Auckland and step onboard our coach until we return you back to Auckland, we’ve got this fun golfing weekend covered: beautiful accommodation, sumptuous dinners with wines, fully cooked breakfast each morning, four rounds of 18-hole golf plus lots of giggles and golfing stories over dinner.  

What’s included:

• Return coach transport
• Three nights share twin at Hilton Hotel in Taupo
• Fully cooked breakfast Sunday, Monday & Tuesday
• Three two-course dinners with wines
• Four rounds of 18 holes golf at 4 different golf courses
• Choice of shared golf cart or own trundler at each course
• Option of joining us at Hamilton with pick-up point at Hamilton Airport.

Saturday 15 April – Meet in Auckland

7.00am – Meet Louise and Lesley at Greenlane Countdown carpark (by McDonalds), pack your bags and golf gear onboard.

7.30am – Time to board your coach to head to Hamilton Airport to collect those joining us, arriving around 9.15am.

9.30am – We depart Kinloch and our first round of golf at The Kinloch Club, time to have lunch at the The Kinloch Club’s cafe.

After our round of golf, a short drive to Taupo Hilton, get settled into our hotel and freshen up – maybe meet in the bar for a quick drink before we head out to dinner.

Sunday 16 April

Breakfast at your hotel this morning.  

We’re aiming for a 10.00am tee off Taupo Golf Club (Centennial).

Once everyone’s finished, it’s back onboard the coach to head to our hotel where again there is time to freshen up before we head out to dinner.  Maybe you’d like to indulge in a soak in one of the private pools at the DeBretts Hot Springs which is only a couple of minutes walk.

Inclusions:  Breakfast, golf fees, shared golf cart, accommodation & dinner with wines

Monday 17 April

Breakfast at your hotel this morning.  We’re aiming for a 10.00am tee-off this morning at Wairakei Golf & Sanctuary

Once everyone’s finished, it’s back onboard the coach to head to our hotel where again there is time to freshen up before we head out to dinner.  Maybe you’d like to indulge again in a soak in one of the private pools at the DeBretts Hot Springs which is only a couple of minutes walk.

Inclusions:  Breakfast, golf fees, shared golf cart, accommodation & dinner with wines

Tuesday 18 April

Breakfast again at our hotel this morning, then it’s bags down at reception after breakfast – we’re then off to Hamilton for our last round of golf at TiEke (formerly Lochiel Golf Club). 

Once everyone’s finished, back on board the coach where we begin our drive back to Auckland, stopping a short distance away at Hamilton Airport. Arrival in Auckland is anticipated to be anywhere between 7pm and 8pm.

Inclusions:  Breakfast, golf fees & shared golf cart

Cost

• NZ$2,950 – share a beautiful room at Taupo’s Hilton Hotel
• NZ$3,550 – enjoy your own beautiful at Taupo’s Hilton Hotel
• NZ$2,200 – non golfing partner (must be travelling with a golfing partner and sharing the room)

Deposit

• NZ$500 per person secures your place.  
• Balance is due 45 days prior, payable on invoice by credit card.

Other Details

• Small group size of 8-12
• Non players welcome to accompany golfing partner at NZD$2,200
• We reserve the right due to any unforeseen circumstances, substitute play at alternative golf courses to those listed above, although all playing times have been confirmed with each course.

Cancellation  

• If cancellation is received after payment of deposit and prior to full payment due, deposit is non refundable.
• If cancellation is received 45 days or less before departure, what you have paid is non-refundable UNLESS your place filled by another person then fully refundable less NZ$250.  Refund will be provided on replacement passenger paying.
