Butchery & BBQ – A Nose to Tail Feast

*** SOLD OUT *** Come join Lesley as Girls on the Road Again are holding an awesomely amazing one day workshop in Auckland led by the fabulous Hannah Miller “A Lady Butcher”

This is hands-on class and we start the day with Hannah demonstrating how to prepare some iconic Kiwi bbq cuts.

Have you ever wondered how to prepare a boston butt from a whole pork shoulder, butterfly a lamb leg, & spatchcock a chicken – then this is the workshop for you?

We’ll divide into groups and each group will break down each cut with guidance from our instructor. 

Of course there’s a light lunch complete with charcuterie and refreshments.

After lunch, you will each work with Hannah to make your own marinades & rubs before having a look in the smoker to see what the pitmaster is up to. 

By the end of class, you will have broken down a selection of BBQ cuts, learned about the merits of rubs and marinades (and what goes in them), and have found out why this gal’s (Hannah) so passionate about cooking with charcoal and smoke!.

At the finish the day with an afternoon feast of bbq meats and all the sides, complete with paired craft beer or local wines.
