Virtual Happy Hour – Pimp your pantry with Jax Hamilton

Come join Girls on the Road Again’s Host Lesley and meet the amazingly awesome Jax Hamilton.

Lockdown doesn’t have to mean we lock ourselves out of creating easy, delicious, meals. We have all the time in the world to rethink our pantries (and any food in your garden) and use them as a resource. 

We’ve been so used to accessing our stocked freezers, cupboards and pantries as a back-up and our local supermarkets; markets, deli / grocers as available, on-hand fresh ingredients to brighten up our plates. Well guess what, all that stock can be put to use now – hooray.

Our current situation means, we need to view our pantries with fresh eyes. Or for someone like me, who lives alone, use one dish three ways: any leftover bolognaise tomato sauce can become, brunch + shakshuka; supper + a tomato and feta tart; or sit down with a good book; small platter with a simple dip swirled with cream cheese.
